To be young and rich takes a stroke of luck or in the case of Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson, one of the most popular movie series of all time, Harry Potter. According to the March Issue of Vanity Fair the 20 something stars earned at least $71 million combined through the 2009 pay schedule.
Watson made the magazines Top 40 list at only 19 years old thanks in large part to both Harry Potter movies she was paid for in 2009 Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Parts I and II, along with her modeling career and other acting jobs. She was number 14 on the list only falling behind several directors, producers and fellow actresses Cameron Diaz, Sarah Jessica Parket, and Angelina Jolie. She is reported to have taken in $30 million.
Her co-star in the Potter films, Daniel Radcliffe (Harry Potter) also made the list at a higher pay rate with $41 million earned in 2009, making him the highest paid actor on the list.
So….what about Rupert Grint? Ron Weasley after all has had just as much, if not more, face time than Emma Watson and her Hermione Granger character. Poor Rubert…
