A former housekeeper who worked for Kim Kardashian and her former husband Damon Thomas has filed suit against the socialite and her ex-husband over a bounced check and unpaid salary promises.
TMZ is reporting that Isabel Hernandez was given a check in the amount of $13,000 four years ago which was returned for insufficient funds. Along with those funds Hernandez is claiming that she was not paid her annual salary of $7,800 due in 2007 and 2008. She’s also suiting for $300 in unpaid wages in 2009, bringing her total lawsuit to $29,000.
According to kardashian’s lawyer, Thomas is at fault, as his client moved out in 2003 and divorced Thomas in 2004.
Here’s my question. Why in the hell would you continue to work for someone who for years didn’t pay you and bounced checks? Good luck proving this one in court.
