Floyd Mayweather Accused of Domestic Violence
Boxing great Floyd Mayweather Jr. is wanted by law enforcement for questioning regarding an alleged domestic violence charge. Mayweather is accused of attacking his baby’s mother, Josie Harris, TMZ reports.
This is the last thing Mayweather needs considering he just made a public apology for his racist, homophobic rant about Manny Pacquiao.
When police arrived at the scene of the alleged crime, Mayweather was no where to be found. Law enforcement is reportedly still looking for Mayweather for questioning to determine if he will be placed under arrest. Harris, the alleged victim, is filing for a restraining order today in court. This isn’t the first time Harris has accused Mayweather of domestic assault.
In 2003 Harris claimed that Mayweather kicked and punched her while they were parked in a car. The charges were dropped because Harris revealed she was lying to police because she was unhappy that Floyd left her for another woman.
Not much is known at this point. More light will be shed on the matter when police are able to question Mayweather.
