Well, there’s a shocker, but it’s true. Sorry “Jersey Shore,” fans, but The Situation was one of the lowest-ranking celebrities during last night’s premiere of the hit reality series “Dancing with the Star,” Us Magazine is reporting.
Mike Sorrentino only had about five days to rehearse because of scheduling conflicts with his MTV reality series “Jersey Shore.”
Sorrentino said his first day of rehearsal was “painful … I am most worried about not being prepared for my first dance.”
“DWTS” judge Len Goodman did say that Sorrentino has potential, it’s just that he’s “under-rehearsed. It lacked polish. You’ve got the guns, but not the ammunition. Better luck next week.”
Bruno Tonioll didn’t hold back telling the reality star, “You’re gonna look like a jackass if you carry on like that … You’ve got to apply yourself … This wasn’t very good. You have to take this seriously.”
Sorrentino and partner Karina Smirnoff received 15 out of 30 points. He is tied with Margaret Cho and David Hasselhoff for earning the lowest scores of the night.
“I tried my hardest out there,” he said. “I’d like to improve.”
