A Philadelphia high school has been accused of spying on its students through high school issued laptops. Blake J. Robbins has filed a law suit against the school district.
The Blake J Robbins v Lower Merion School District lawsuit accuses the school of activating web cams remotely to spy on children at home.
The issue was discovered when Blake J Robbins was disciplined at school for inappropriate behavior at home. The vice principle used a photo taken from Robbins’ web cam as proof.
The suit is being filed on behalf of all students within the Lower Merion School District.
If the allegations are true, it is likely that the school has pictures or videos of students dressing, showering, having personal conversations with family members, or any of the other things that teenagers have been known to do with web cams.
Basically, its creepy. It is really fricken creepy.
