American Forward Charlie Davies Caught Speeding
American forward Charlie Davies, currently playing for the French club Sochaux, was pulled over last weekend for driving 125 MPH.
While that fact is barely news worthy, the fact that Davies was in a car accident last year that killed one person and left him seriously injured is.
Davies wasn’t the driver of the crash that occurred in October of 2009, but he did suffer two broken bones in his right left, a broken and dislocated left elbow and broken nose, forehead and eye socket. Davies also suffered a ruptured bladder and bleeding on the brain.
According to online newspaper Le Pregres, Davis was driving his Audi Q7 when he was pulled over last week in France’s Jura region.
