Asus took advantage of the CeBIT expo in Germany today to show off their new Eco-friendly Energy Efficient LCD Monitors.  The series includes EzLink devices which feature WiFi connectivity allowing users to connect their displays to a host computer using  WHCI (Wireless Host Controller Interfaces) or for Wireless USB Host Wire Adapters.

Asus claims that the use of those connection types will show no picture degradation and that the Asus VH192C and Asus VH196 devices that use low levels of mercury and two lamps for simply energy savings. Asus then uses an optical film to keep brightness levels high. The VH192C also uses a Color Shine panel that helps image clarity and color density. [via Electronista]
