A suspicious boyfriend who wanted to find out if his girlfriend was cheating on him treated her like a Taliban prisoner by tying her to a couch in the apartment they shared and started waterboarding her.
Waterboarding is a torture that has been used in the military in which a prisoner’s head is tilted back, covered with cloth before water is poured on the face of the prisoner. Now Trevor Case, 22, is facing charges of domestic assault, false imprisonment, and making terrorist threats. The Smoking Gun reports as follows.
“Police allege that Case stuffed “hospital socks” into Danielle Stallworth’s mouth and bound her wrists with belts and hair ties before placing a shirt over her head and dousing it with water, according to a Lincoln Police Department report. “He poured a pitcher of water on her head, and she started freaking out and thought she wasn’t able to breathe,” cops noted.”
The problem with waterboarding is that victims will confess to anything in order to stop the sensation of drowning, making it limited in usefulness for extracting information. Police reported that Stallworth clawed her dim witted boyfriend on the chest during the attack, and that his accounts of getting the scratch marks from “wrestling with a friend” didn’t add up.
Sadly enough, the couple shared their stormy abode with an infant daughter, who was not likely to have benefited from living in such a turbulent environment.
Now, Case has a serious legal case in front of him. Case is being held on $150,000 bond at the Lancaster County jail and already has a record of one prior conviction for domestic violence against Stallworth.
Well he has had great mentors since, after all, the US military and its assorted private contractors are the torture world champions.
Alright, very naive broad to have stayed with any man that had been arrested for any kind of abuse, especially with a child there. But, really? This guy pulls out waterboarding?! I'm pretty set on that if he repeated that act more than three times, pouring a pitcher of water into socks that were shoved in her mouth?! It's literally a textbook example of torture. Whatever, she's a cheating floozy. :)
This twit stayed with him after the first domestic violence charge? She didn't deserve what he did, but she's a bozo for being with him in the first place.
I like how this article describes exactly how to waterboard somebody, just in case any other jealous boyfriends out there wanna do the same thing. Nice work. How conscientious of you, IndyPosted.
Yeah, I don't know how they can charge him when the US Government has declared that waterboarding isn't torture.
Torture and abuse aren't interchangeable in the eyes of the law. They have said it was not torture, but the courts have never given scope to what it is considered since court cases have not went outside the bounds of the torture issue.
