The McRib is Back: McDonald’s Brings the McRib Out of Retirement
The McRib is an elusive fast food sandwich that has built a cult like following. The McRib has appeared from time to time in limited releases over the past decade, but McRib lovers have been waiting 16 years for the sandwich to be released nationwide by McDonald’s.
And finally, that day has come.
McDonald’s brought the McRib out of retirement today, and it is now available at all 14,000 McDonald’s locations nationwide. But you’ll have to get your McRib fix quick, because according to the Huffington Post, the sandwich will disappear for an undetermined amount of time on December 4th.
In honor of this historic McRelease, McDonald’s is asking McRib lovers to submit their stories about the McRib Legend. Fans will vote on the best McRib legend story, and the winner will be sent to Germany, a mythical country where the McRib is available all-year round.
Oh, and the story will also get turned into a comic.
