Twitter To Allow Businesses To Claim Locations

More Info: ,

In a very interesting move that would allow Twitter to raise it’s profile in the geolocation game, a link was leaked that shows a business, Twitter HQ, being claimed by Twitter itself.

As far as allowing businesses to claim locations, it’s not really anything new. Facebook and Foursquare have allowed it for some time, but this shows that Twitter is getting more serious about competing within the geolocation space.

Now it’s time to simply wait and see what the guys behind it have to say, and when can we expect the feature to be rolled out.

Do you use Foursquare or Facebook to check-in to places? Maybe use a different service? [via Inquisitr]
