Spanish Political Ad Promises “Satisfaction” To Voters [Video]

A socialist political party in the Catalonian region of Northern Spain has made a campaign promise that is hard to keep. The ad shows a woman who casts a vote having an orgasm as she does so. Both the Socialists and opposition politicians, as well as the “equality minister” have criticized the ad as misleading.

Back in the 1970′s Firesign Theater, a comedy group, ran a spoof presidential campaign for George Papoon under the slogan “He’s Not Insane.” Part of his platform was “One Organism One Vote.” It seems that the Young Socialists in Catalonia might need help in spelling “organism”. With the slogan “Voting is a pleasure” however, they may have a hard time delivering ontheir campaign promises.
