Ben Reothlisberger

Big Ben Roethlisberger took a punch today during the Pittsburgh Steelers Oakland Raiders game. Richard Seymour Punched Roethlisberger after the Steelers QB yelled at the Raiders lineman.

Bleacher Reports says that Richard Seymour was ejected from the game, and could face a fine and a suspension. Seymour is a five-time pro bowler, but has built a reputation in the NFL as a dirty player.

The incident occurred after Roethlisberger threw a 22-yard touchdown pass to Emmanuel Sanders. Roethlisberger approached Seymour from behind, and gave him a few choice words. Seymour turned and hit Roethlisberger.

A scuffle ensued between the two teams, and Seymour was ejected.

Here is the video of Richard Seymour punching Ben Roethlisberger.

In case this video gets pulled, here’s a link to the video.

The NFL has been taking more steps to ensure player safety, especially quarterbacks this year. It will be interesting to see what additional penalties Seymour receives, if any.
