Pacquiao Pummels Clottey (VIDEO)

There was a lot of hype surrounding the Pacquiao v Clottey fight. The biggest boxing crowd in the past 17 years showed up at Cowboys stadium to see the miniature (compared to Joshua Clottey) Manny Pacquiao take on Clottey in what was supposedd to be a great fight.

Pacquiao, however, was clearly the better fighter, and used his speed and agility to keep Clottey off balance. Pacquiao landed 246 out of 1,231 punches. Clottey landed 108 and of 399.

Pacquiao’s onslaught of punches never really gave Clottey a chance to come out and be aggressive.

Clottey filled the shoes of Floydd Mayweather Jr., who was supposed to be in the ring. Mayweather fights Shane Moseley on May 1st. Pacquiao will have to wait to get his chance against the undefeated Mayweather.
