The Largest Gathering Of Santa Clauses – 13,000
13,000 people dressed as Santa gathered at Guildhall Square in Derry City, Northern Ireland, UK, on 9 December 2007.
The Largest Santa – 51 ft Tall
Standing at 51 feet tall and weighing 2.5 tons, this Santa at the Tanglin Mall, Singapore, is the world’s biggest Santa Claus. It was built on November 10, 1996 to January 3, 1997, and is made from polyfoam and metal.
Largest Floating Christmas Tree – 278 Ft Tall
In 2007, the people of Rio De Janeiro built the world’s largest floating Christmas tree. The tree stands at 278 ft and 10 inches tall. If you think that’s big, check out the world’s largest Christmas tree… except this one isn’t technically a tree.
Most Christmas Trees Chopped Down in Two Minutes – 27
Erin Lavoie chopped down 27 Christmas trees in two minutes on December 19th of 2008, setting a new Guinness Record.

Jim Carrey’s adaptation of “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” is the highest grossing Christmas movie of all time. The Grinch brought in $340 million.
Largest Santa Memorabilia Collection – 25,104 Santa Claus Items
A Canadian man named Jean-Guy Laquerre really loves Santa. He has more than 25,000 pieces of assorted Santa memorabilia. Pins, postcards, figurines, stuffed dolls… if it has Santa’s face on it, chances are Laquerre owns it.
Most Lights on a Christmas Tree – 150,000
RTL Television GmbH simultaneously lit 150,000 lights on a Christmas tree on December 22, 2006 at the Cologne Cathedral, Cologne, Germany.
The World’s Most Expensive Christmas Tree – $16 Million
To make the world’s most expensive Christmas tree, the people at the Tsunamachi Misui Club, in Tokyo, Japan, decorated their tree with 83 pieces of jewelry totaling $16 million in 2002. A new world’s most expensive Christmas tree was just erected in Abu Dubai, but it has not been verified by the Guinness Book of World Records.
The World’s Largest Christmas Stocking – 106 ft and 9 inches
In December of 2007, the Children’s Society of London built the world’s largest stocking. The stocking was nearly 50 ft wide and over 100 ft tall.
World’s Biggest Ornament – 103 ft tall
The world’s largest ornament is nearly too big for the world’s largest tree. Built by Apple A Day Properties in India in 2009, the world’s largest ornament is 103 ft and 8 inches tall.
