Losing Baby Weight Wasn’t A Priority for Amy Adams
Amy Adams wasn’t stressing about losing the weight she gained during her pregnancy. Adams, 26, gave birth to daughter Aviana Olea back in May.
Adams said:
“I’ve been working out when I can, and I’m trying to eat in a healthful way, but losing weight is not my No. 1 priority.”
While the Golden Globe nominated actress understands that it’s part of her job to get back into shape, she’s been able to make a career for herself based on her talent and not her body.
Adams said:
“It’s part of my job to return to some semblance of what I was before. But I don’t feel I’ve ever made my career on my rocking’ bod.”
She admitted that being a parent for the first time with fiancé Darren Le Gallo has taught her to appreciate her body a lot more.
She added:
“Being pregnant finally helped me understand what my true relationship was with my body, meaning that it wasn’t put on this earth to look good in a swimsuit. I actually love my work more now, ’cause I feel if I’m going to be away from [Aviana], I’d better enjoy it. I’m trying to be more present in each moment of my life. She’s taught me that.”
