New Series “Extreme Couponing” Heading to TLC
TLC is coming out with a new, interesting reality series called, “Extreme Couponing.” The series will feature people who will do anything to get a great deal on major hauls.
“Entertainment Tonight” had your first sneak peak at the upcoming reality series. The clip showed Joanie who was more than happy to show off how she is able to save so much money. She had a $683.64 haul, but only paid $2.64 thanks to her coupons.
Another “extreme coupon” shopper is Amanda, who shows off all her toilet paper.
She said:
“I’ve been stockpiling for about three and a half years. When I look at my toilet paper the feeling it brings to me is absolute joy!”
Amanda and her partner have more than 3,000 rolls of toilet paper, which is enough to last about 40 years or so.
Nathan is getting read for the shopping spree of his life. He has his arms completely filled with coupons as he gets an order so large that it had to be split up because the register can only hold 500 items at a time. Nathan purchased 60 bottles of hand soap, 40 bottles of water and 1100 boxes of cereal. His total was almost $6,000, but with his coupons, he paid $241. On top of these items, Nathan has more than 10,000 items at home.
The new series premieres Wednesday night at 8/7c on TLC.
