Zuffa, owners of the UFC announced on Saturday that they have officially purchased league competitor Strikeforce.

UFC President Dana White made the announcement while stating that it will be “business as usual” for both organizations.

White also stated that at this time there will be no “superfights” between members of both groups and that all contracts and business deals will remain in place. Strikeforce currently has  a contract with Showtime.

The deal was completed after months of talks between Zuffa and Silicon Valley Sports & Entertainment, the same organization that owns the San Jose Sharks.
