UFC Fight Night 24 Results Are In, Not Good For Hardy

Anthony “Rumble” Johnson became the third UFC fighter in a row to take down Dan Hardy on Saturday night.
Hardy’s three loses come just after he was named the number one welterweight contender and then lost to Georges St-Pierre for the welterweight title.
Earlier in the week Hardy said of his match against Johnson:
“I’m not planning to go to the ground with Anthony” while adding “I’m planning to send him down on his own.”
While three loses in a row is good reason to cut a fighter in the UFC, there’s a good chance Hardy will stick around for a while longer, possibly for an upcoming fight in his homeland of England where the league is trying to expand their operations and are in desperate need of a homeland favorite to help them in those efforts.
Hardy now sits at a record of 4-3 inside the UFC octagon.
