Sneak Peak of ‘Rise of the Planet of the Apes’ [Video]

A new sneak peak at the prequel to “Planet of the Apes” has just been released. It’s just a five second clip that gives a glimpse of what the monkey costumes will look like in the new movie, “Rise of the Planet of the Apes.”

The new movie will take place in San Francisco, and will detail the ape revolution that dropped human’s from their spot on the top of the food chain.

Here’s a look at the new apes.

According to Yahoo Movies, the apes are all CGI and were created by Peter Jackson’s Weta Digital company, which did the effects for “Lord of the Rings” and “King Kong.”

Weta Digital is also teaming up again with Andy Serkis, who played Gollum in LOTR. Serkis will play Caesar, the main ape in the new movie. James Franco and Freida Pinto will also star in the movie, which is set for release in August.
