Burger King Meat Monster

Burger King is taking  its “have it your way” campaign to the extreme with the new “Meat Monster” combo, which weighs in at a massive 1,160 calories.  The beast consists of two burgers, a chicken breast fillet, two slices of cheese, and three slices of bacon served between two buns.

According to The Consumerist, the new menu item from the international fast food chain also contains 24 g of saturated fat, 240 mg of cholesterol, 13 g of sugar, 54 g carbs, 69 g of fat, 1.5 g of trans fat, and 2290 mg of sodium.

The DailyMail ominously notes that “Customers have the option to add in even more layers  if they want to ‘personalize’ the meal further – and make it even unhealthier.”

So far, the Meat Monster is only available in Japan (doesn’t that country have enough problems at the moment?). It sells there for the equivalent of  about 10 U.S. dollars.
