Tiger Woods US Open Knee News

Tiger Woods on Tuesday announced that he will play in the U.S. Open despite questions surrounding his hurt leg. In fact Woods before his press conference promised to donate $1 million to the TWFoundation.

Tiger Tweeted:

“Almost Press Conference time. I’ll donate one million dollars to @TWFoundation if no one asks me about my leg.”

During the conference at AT&T National in Philadelphia one of the first questions regarded his knee and Achilles injury to which Tiger answered the question and then said he would still give the money to the charity.

When asked if the knee injury could keep him from the next tournament following the U.S. Open he said:

“Yeah, there is, absolutely. But I’m not going to say that I’m looking at it that way. I’m certainly looking at it that with the proper treatment, the proper rehab I’ll be ready. And that’s what I’m trying to do.”
