Riot Hits Hollywood Boulevard Following Private Pary

Police on Hollywood Boulevard were forced to shoot bean bags into a crowd of rioters on Wednesday after hundreds of people were turned away from a private screen of the movie Electric Daisy Carnival Experience. The movie centers around a popular rave festival and fans of electronic dance music (EDM) showed up in support of the film.
The movie, playing at the famous Grauman’s Chinese Theater, was to be followed by a “block party” held by popular EDM artist DJ Kaskade who tweeted to fans:
Today@6pm in Hollywood @Mann’s Chinese Theatre. ME+BIG SPEAKERS+MUSIC=BLOCK PARTY!!! RT!
Rioters took time to vandalize police cars according to the Los Angeles Police Department, while one car was set on fire. The extremity of the riot caused the LAPD to shut down Hollywood Boulevard until they could get the crowd under control.
Realizing that his tweet had caused a riot DJ Kaskade sent out various tweeted including one in all capital letters that read:
“EVERYONE NEEDS TO GO HOME NOW! I DON’T WANT THIS TO REFLECT BADLY ON EDM OR WHAT WE ARE ABOUT,” adding, “BE RESPECTFUL AND CHILL OUT!!”
