Vic Dunlop dead at 62

Standup comic Vic Dunlop passed away on August 13, he was 62-years-old, Dunlop is best know for his appearances on the TV show Make Me Laugh. 

Dunlop passed away at the Glendale Adventist Medical Center in California, he was suffering from complications brought on by diabetes.

Vic also appeared on the Richard Pryor 1977 comedy-variety show and starred in the 1993 comedy film Breakfast of Aliens which he also co-wrote.

According to HollywoodReporter:

He also had small parts in the films Skatetown, U.S.A. (1979), The Devil and Max Devlin (1981), Ladies Night (1983), Meatballs Part II (1984) and Martians Go Home (1989).

Complications from diabetes are nothing new for Dunlop who lost a leg in 2000, however he continued to perform live, including a gig at the Riviera in Las Vegas in July.

Vic Dunlop is survived by a large family that includes his wife Linda, children Matt and Apryl, four grandchildren and his siblings Richard, Alan, Walter, John and Aurora.

A memorial is currently being planned for family and close friends and the family has setup a Facebook page to help pay off the late comics medical expenses.
