A 14-year-old New Jersey girl has been charged with bias intimidation and harassment after she grabbed the microphone at a local Whole Foods store and told all black people to leave the location.
The teenager tried to run away, however a Whole Foods manager kept an eye on her while having a store employee call the police.
According to police the incident didn’t escalate because the Whole Foods staff acted “so prudently in calling right away.” [Newser]
A similar incident occurred several weeks ago when a man took over a Walmart microphone and said “All Black People Must Leave Walmart.” It’s still unclear if that incident led to this young girls decision, however she’ll probably have plenty of community service time to think about why she took the path she chose.
