Christina Applegate Announces Engagement

After dating for two years, actress Christina Applegate and musician Martyn Lenoble have decided to get married. The engagement happened on Valentine’s Day, according to Yahoo! News, and no wedding date has yet been announced. This is the second marriage for both Applegate and Lenoble.

Lenoble has certainly already proved that he’ll be there “through sickness and through health.” Applegate was diagnosed with breast cancer in the summer of 2008 and had a double mastectomy. She underwent reconstructive surgery and is currently cancer-free.

Applegate came to fame in the 1980s and 1990s when she played the role of teen Kelly Bundy on the television show Married…With Children. Since then, she’s been in movies such as The Big Hit, The Sweetest Thing, Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy, and Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel. She also had the starring role in Samantha Who? on ABC.

Lenoble is a founding member of the group Porno for Pyros, which also features Perry Farrell and Stephen Perkins, of Jane’s Addiction.
