Kris Humphries First Public Appearance Since Split from Kim Kardashian

Seventy-two. That is the number of days NBA power forward Kris Humphries and giggling C-U-Next-Tuesday Kim Kardashian were married.  The worst part is, while we probably weren’t surprised in the least, we still care for some terrible reason.

Today on Good Morning America, Humphries made his first public appearance since the split, in which he, of course, dodged most all questions the viewing public actually wants answers to.

Radar Online points out that GMA‘s Josh Elliot asked Humphries outright if he still loved Kim, to which Humphries said that he’s moving forward, while going on to say, “I’m focused on just what I can control, which is being ready to play ball and supporting my mom and her cookie baking.”

Cookie baking? I’m surprised he didn’t follow that up by reaching out and gently kissing Josh Elliot square on the forehead.

Humphries also said he doesn’t watch himself on TV, further adding to own our insult. “The only things I really watch on TV of myself is playing basketball… I don’t really play into all the gossip.”

Okay, real talk? If he’s moving forward and she’s moving forward, maybe WE should move forward, too. I know, we can all focus on baking cookies! Think about it… humanity will be restored!
