Things Not So Fresh In Bel-Air

After a small cast reunion of the “Fresh Prince of Bel-Air”, some smell reunion episode in the makings. Well sorry to say it will probably never happen. Janet Hubert, who played Aunt Viv on the hit 90’s television show recently lashed out against A-list actor Will Smith who played the shows main character.

“There will never be a reunion … as I will never do anything with an a–hole like Will Smith,” Hubert told TMZ. It would seem that she has something against everyones favorite bad boy all grown up.

Hubert blames Smith, for her leaving the show early in 1993, claiming “He is still an egomaniac and has not grown up,” continuing on to say “This constant reunion thing will never ever happen in my lifetime unless there is an apology, which he doesn’t know the word.”

Smith has denied that he was a part of her leaving the show, and gives nothing but praise for Hubert. “That wasn’t me.” Smith told Ebony Magazine in 1996. “She brought so much spirit and fun and warmth to ‘The Fresh Prince’. She made that set a home. She was really special.”

Apparently fans of the show will have to settle for reruns, at least until these two can work things out, which with Smith’s booming career doesn’t seem like anytime soon.
