Why stop at iTunes and Amazon when it comes to the ‘digital revolution’ currently underway? It’s time for some truly worthwhile innovation in terms of world progress to make its way into designer’s minds.

There are advertisements covering all areas of the Internet, including social media websites. These social media sites are gaining more popularity as the years progress. As the sites grow more popular, businesses are taking advantage of the views.

Advertising and marketing on the Internet is also growing more popular. So why not use all of our technological knowledge and create something else?

Microsoft founder Bill Gates has recently proposed putting the digital revolution to good use. Mr. Gates advocated the creation of genetically engineered seeds to help end world hunger.

>Yahoo News quotes Bill, saying “We have to think hard about how to start taking advantage of the digital revolution that is driving innovation including in farming.”

Mr. Gates believes that hunger issues could end with the production of creating seeds. People could also use satellites to increase the productivity. Farming is becoming a lost industry, and many farmers struggle to make ends meet. Gates has faith that farmers will be able to double and triple their production rate in the next twenty years.

As an example, Gates showed a production of seed development in Africa. With this new knowledge, African farmers will be able to predict how seedlings will turn out. It will shorten the time it takes them to develop a new variety of seeds.

The use of satellites will be able to help farmers all over the world. Farmers can record videos of themselves teaching others their successful means of development. Instead of fending for themselves, farmers will be able to heed the advice of others in their predicament.

Gates also defended the use of genetically modified organisms in developing areas of the world. He argues “You should go out and talk to people growing rice and say do they mind that it was created in a laboratory when their child has enough to eat?”

Gates understands that the world is developing in new ways every day. Instead of following ancient practices, why not survive with the help of technology. It is there for a reason, so why not use it?

Gates feels a bit ashamed that we have not done more to assist ailing countries. Providing them with this knowledge and technology is the first step to treating world hunger issues.

Health expert Dr. Sy Schlager understands the urgency to help less fortunate countries. He partnered with Abbott Laboratories to “develop pain management medication for HIV or AIDS-infected patients.”

These patients are from third world countries, such as Haiti. The citizens need to be informed of technological advances so that they can help their populations soar.

Bill Gates is prepared to work with the United Nations food agencies that deal with agriculture. He wants them to put together a plan to start helping less fortunate countries feed their starving citizens.

It will take a lot of time to get these countries up to date on the useful technologies. Gates is prepared to do what he can to begin aiding them.
