Palin Says U.S. Law Should Be Based Off The Bible, So Much For Separation Of Church And State
Sarah Palin was on the O’Reilly Factor last night and while talking about the National Day of Prayer she took her comments one step further, stating that the United States should start forming law once again based off the bible.
According to Palin:
“I think we should keep this clean, keep it simple, go back to what our founders and our founding documents meant,” adding, “They’re quite clear that we would create law based on the God of the Bible and the 10 commandments, it’s pretty simple.”
Bill O’Reilly asked Palin what that would mean for other cultures in the United States:
“Yay, welcome to America, where we are tolerant and you have a freedom to express whatever faith, you can participate peacefully in whatever religion that you choose, that’s what America is all about.”
Apparently separation of church and state would be the first thing to go if Palin was President, there’s a scary prospect.
Here’s the full interview:
What do you think about Palin’s comments? And could Bill O’Reilly possibly suck up to anyone more than Palin, he’s practically sticking his tongue down her throat during all the interviews he conducts with her.

So, according to Palin, if you are not a Christian (and specifically Christian conservative) you better know your place and tolerate the government endorsing their religious view. I have read the Constitution, nothing about the 10 commandments, Jesus, Moses or the bible in it. It is a secular document and gives a foundation for ours secular republic. We aren't a theocracy or a quasi theocracy at all. Let the government be neutral in regards to religion.
Bold, brilliant, beautiful Sarah Palin is charming, charismatic, and Christian. She is the right person to lead this country.
ummmmmmmm…..right……
