Asus Ultrathin Laptops With 45nm Intel Penryn Chips May Arrive Next Week
It’s not officially confirmed at this point but Digitimes is reporting that the 45nm Intel Celeron 734 and SU2300 CPUs that have been peeking their heads out over the last several months are coming to Asus Ultrathin Laptops in the immediate future, possibly by next week.
According to DigiTimes the laptops could launch by September 7th in China, Taiwan and Europe, although no pricing has been revealed at this time.
Considering other sources are also pointing to an MSI announcement about the processors there might actually be some weight to the Sept. 7 rumors. Although given the lack of press surrounding the new notebooks it could be just a device “launch” announcement.
