Lindsay LohanAlthough Lindsay Lohan is preparing herself to enter the slammer July 20 for a 90-day sentence stemming from DUI charges, she can still take powerful prescription drugs, including very strong painkiller, Dilaudid, the stimulant Adderall (used to treat ADHD), Zoloft (antidepressant), Trazodone (antidepressant), and Nexium (acid reflux), her probation officer’s report says. TMZ was reportedly the first to break this news about her prescription drug use under the terms of probation.

Michael Lohan, the actress’s father, has been in the public eye this week saying he’s very concerned about his daughter’s health and welfare. In a letter to the court, he pleaded with the judge to make sure his daughter received professional help and treatment for her drug problems. Michael Lohan wants his daughter’s prescription drug use to be closely watched by qualified medical personnel, fearing that she might become another grim Hollywood statistic.

Dilaudid (Hydromorphone Hydrochloride) is a narcotic manufactured by Abbott Laboratories Inc. that some have compared to heroin. It’s listed as a Schedule II drug in the federal Controlled Substances Act. Street names for Dilaudid include Little D and Dillies. It reportedly has two to eight times the painkilling effects of morphine.
