I’m not saying I hate Kanye West, quite the opposite, I thought College Dropout was one of the best hip hop albums of the last decade. However I do find his general behavior obnoxious. After all let’s face it, he hasn’t produced anything worthwhile since Jesus Walks.
Now I have a whole new disrespect for the loser after he bum rushed the MTV Video Music Awards during teen sensation Taylor Swifts acceptance speech and stole her mic to say that Beyonce deserved the award for her “Single Ladies” video. In his own words “Hey Taylor, I’m really happy for you, but Beyonce had one of the best videos of all time.”
Not only did Taylor Swift look humiliated, it was such a douche bag move that it made us wish Kanye was in another car accident that would once again wire that annoying mouth of his shut.
Beyonce seemed to agree, sharing the stage with Taylor Swift later on in the show so she could finish her acceptance speech.
Like I mentioned at the start of this post, I loved College Dropout, but I probably won’t be jamming out to many more Kanye songs with the knowledge that he likes to attack teenage girls.
