Mia Farrow Says Naomi Campbell Lied About Blood Diamonds (Video)

Mia Farrow told the court that Naomi Campbell knew the “huge diamond” she got from men at her door came from Liberian strongman Charles Taylor.

Campbell had previously testified that she had never heard of Liberia or Charles Taylor blood diamonds. She also said it was several small diamonds.

After a party given by Nelson Mandela, Campbell came down to breakfast to regale other guests with the diamond given to her. Farrow testified

“she had been awakened, some men were knocking at the door, and they had been sent by Charles Taylor, and they had given her a huge diamond.”

Naomi Campbell reportedly was thrilled with the gift and announced she would give the diamond to charity.

If the court believes Mia Farrow, it would cripple the Liberian president’s defense that he never had any connection with blood diamonds.
