T-Mobile users across the U.S. tonight are reporting widespread service outages. These outages include the inability to make calls and use data services such as text messaging and 3G.

Currently the cause is unknown, although a company spokesperson has acknowledged the problem and mentioned that a fix is currently underway and the network should be up and running shortly.

This isn’t the first time a network issue has been spotted in the last month, the T-Mobile Sidekick lost the ability to transmit data for a two week period several weeks ago.
