Verizon Officially Launches LG Chocolate Touch

Verizon has officially launched the LG Chocolate Touch, a sleek Smartphone with an LCD display, 3.2MP camera with digital zoom and even some software editing abilities thrown in for good measure.

Unfortunately, the device doesn’t come with a sleek mobile and ultimately useful mobile OS such as Android, Windows Mobile, Symbian, etc. However, it does offer an FM Radio with 12 presets, social networking with Twitter, Facebook and MySpace integrated into the device and…well…that’s about it.

The LG Chocolate Touch can be grabbed for $79.99 after you complete a $50 mail-in rebate and sign a “Nationwide” calling plan with a 2 year contract.

With the Motorola Droid, HTC Droid Eris and various other devices releasing at the same time, it’s simply not a good time to be grabbing a piece of Chocolate…
