The story of the Spice Girls is coming to the stage on November 5th 2010. That’s the date “Viva Forever” named after one of the groups hits, will debut in London, UK.
The musical tells the story of the girls rise from rags to riches. The musical is in pre-production and was written by Kim Fuller, the brother of former Spice Girls manager Simon Fuller and the unfortunate writer of the movie Spiceworld.
According to PopCrunch:
Viva Forever will chronicle the rise of the groups five members, Geri Halliwell, Mel B, Victoria Beckham, Mel C and Emma Bunton, with the help of 14 of the band’s biggest hits.
We give this one a week of buzz before it fizzles out and disappears into the same abyss occupied by Spiceworld.
