
The Cleveland Browns have released a statement that Shaun Rogers, their Pro Bowl nose tackle will be out for the rest of the season after sustaining a season ending leg injury.
Coach Eric Magini told ESPN that Rogers requires surgery on the leg after being injured in the fourth quarter of the teams 16-7 loss against the Bengals. The game proved to be a tough one for Cleveland who racked up four defensive injuries during the loss.
The injuy of Rogers’ occured when he was his by his own teammate C.J. Mosley on a running play with 3:39 left in the game. His leg was bent while laying over a pack of players.
The Browns are 1-10 on the season and have lost three defensive starters who are all listed on the injured reserve.
