Liquid Image has decided to get a head start over CES 2010 which begins this Thursday by officially announcing the Liquid Image Summit Series Snow Camera goggle series.
The main headset, the Snow Camera Goggle 335 features a 5MP still camera with D1 720 x 480 resolution shooting at 30 frames per second with built in audio capture. The headset also features 16MB built-in memory which is easily expandable to 16GB thanks to the included MicroSDHC card slot.
Skiers and snow boarders will also appreciate the headsets large buttons which were designed to make pressing them simple while wearing gloves, while a light inside the goggles lets users know their recording.
According to Engadget, the units can hold around 2,200 images or record 2 hours of video on a single lithium ion battery charge.
The goggles are expected to ship by Summer 2010 for $149.
