Detroit Tigers Slugger Miguel Cabrera Completes Stint in Rehab
Detroit Tigers first baseman Miguel Cabrera recently completed a three month rehabilitation program. Over the past few years Cabrera’s drinking had become a real problem in his life, on and off the field “I never played drunk, but there were times where I was very tired or my body just felt lazy. I don’t feel that way anymore”.
This doesn’t come as a surprise to many, last season police were called to his house over a domestic dispute after Cabrera was allegedly out drinking late into the night with Chicago White Sox players after a game.
So in the near future if you hear Miguel Cabrera is in AA, remember it is probably Alcoholics Anonymous and not Double-A.
