Edgerrin James Named Honorary Captain for Colts Vs. Jets AFC Title Game
The Indianapolis Colts today announced that former Colts star running back Edgerrin James will be the teams honorary captain during today’s AFC title game against the New York Jets.
James is a four-time Pro Bowler and is expected to bring a bit of inspiration and experience to the team during their playoff game.
Edgerrin played for Indy from 1995-2005 and while he left a year before the Colts won the Superbowl, the team later awarded him a Superbowl ring of his own.
He left as the teams all time leading rusher with an impressive 9,226 yards.
