Tina Fey and Steve Carell have tasted big budget success with their recently released and well received date movie Date Night and now it’s being reported that the comedy dream team will pair up once again for a new Warner Bros. flick Mail-Order Groom.
Steve Carell and Tiny Fey were this weekends titans at the box office, taking first place in sales against the second weekend for 3D action movie Clash Of The Titans.
Tina Fey and Steve Carell should have a lot in common; after all, they’re both two of the world’s funniest people. The two say they’ve become friends on the set of their comedy, “Date Night,” ABC News reports.
Fey became famous for her impersonation of Sarah Palin on Saturday Night Live and for her breakthrough hit show, “30 Rock,” and Carell is perhaps best known as “The World’s Best Boss,” for his role in the American version of “The Office.”
“Date Night” is a comedy about a married couple from New Jersey, played by Fey and Carell, who are bored in their relationship. Trying to make things more exciting, they decide to go out for a big night out on the town in New York City. But things go haywire when they go to a restaurant without reservations and pretend to be some other couple in order to get in. With a case of mistaken identity, they find themselves running for their lives through the night.
The “Date Night” Trailerm starring Steve Carell & Tina Fey has debuted. The comedy is set to debut on April 9th 2010 and also stars James Franco, Mark Wahlberg and Mila Kunis.
