Toys R Us Announces "Buy One Get One Half Off" Video Games Sale
If you can wait until the day after Christmas to buy console and Nintendo DS games you could be in for quite the savings. Toys R Us has announced that they will offer video games with a “buy one, get one half off special.” The one day sale includes PS2, PS3, Xbox 360 and Nintendo Wii, plus any Nintendo DS games priced at $20 or less.

Sony on Monday released sales numbers for their PS3 gaming console over Thanksgiving week and the number of units sold set a new record for the company. According to their own reports the company sold just over 440,000 gaming consoles.

Nintendo Wii Once Again Tops Sales Charts, Sony PS3 Falls Back To Number 2 Spot
The Sony PS3 had briefly overtook the Nintendo Wii in recent sales after releasing their $299 PS3 Slim. Unfortunately that honeymoon was short lived for the company as Nintendo once again surged ahead in overall October sales, selling 506,900 units, a number down by 18 percent from the same period in 2008.
