Walmart threw in an extra Black Friday surprise today when they dropped the price of the HTC Droid Eris from $100 to an even more budget friendly $30 with a two-year Verizon Wireless contract.

Google Android 1.5 Not Quite Ready For T-Mobile USA

T-mobile USA customers will have to wait at least a few more days for the roll-out of Google Android Version 1.5. According to the GSM Telecom the company is still working out some “optimized” aspects of the open source OS in order to “ensure optimal functionality and smooth delivery,” yet T-Mobile UK customers are flying high with the new software.
