"Boner" From Growing Pains Is Missing

Andrew KoeningAndrew Koening, who played Mike Seaver’s bestie Boner on Growing Pains, has been missing since Valentine’s Day, when he was last seen in Vancouver.

Two days later the 42-year-old missed his flight out of the city.

Koening currently works as the camera operator on the popular podcast Never Not Funny.

Celebrities, such as Kevin Smith, Alyssa Milano and Sarah Silverman, are using Twitter to help in the search for Koening.

While in Vancouver, he stayed with burlesque dancer Jenny Magenta, who posted her concern on Facebook. She said he had expressed interest in the burlesque scene and his parents had said he was “severely depressed.”

Anyone, who has seen Koening since Feb. 14, is asked to contact Detective Raymond Payette of the Vancouver Police Department at 604-717-2534. [Daily News]

"Silent Bob" Not So Silent After Fat Flight Fiasco

Filmmaker Kevin Smith was ejected by Southwestern pilot from his Oakland to Burbank flight for being overweight Saturday.

Smith, who wrote and directed the Jay and Silent Bob series, has been firing up his Twitter today and his followers like fat kids who love cake, have been eating it up.

He tweeted that he was a paying customer, who fit into his seat. “And not just ANY paying customer: a paying customer who fit between the arm rests & was able to buckle his seat belt w/o an extender. TRUTH!”

He contends he was not under the influence any drugs or alcohol. He was offered $100 for his trouble, but according to his Tweets, he refused it.

According to LA Times, Southwest Airlines measures whether a customers too large to fly based on the passenger’s ability to lower both armrests while sitting on the plane. If the passenger cannot lower one or both armrests, the carrier typically requires the passenger to purchase an additional seat or make arrangements on other flights that may accommodate for extra space.

A spokesperson for Southwest Airlines wrote an apology on the company’s Twitter account following the Twitter-lashing unleashed by Smith Saturday evening.

He asked on his Twitter if there was a “fat friendly” airline that he could take on Thursday.
