It’s being reported that long expected franchise quarterback for the Pittsburgh Steelers Ben Roethlisberger will be suspended for 4-6 games for violating NFL policies. Further information is also circulating that the team, which takes their reputation very seriously could also end up trading their star quarterback for a Top 10 pick in tomorrow nights draft.

Eagles Want Top 42 Draft Pick For McNabb Offer
Coaches and GM’s looking to pick up Donovan McNabb will have to give up a top draft pick according to recent reports from the Associated Press.
ESPN is reporting that the Philadelphia Eagles are seeking at least a top 42 draft pick in next months draft for their six-time Pro Bowl quarterback
Sources close to the deal are speculating that the draft pick number could drop if an NFL team is willing to sweeten the pot, possibly with higher compensation levels for the Eagles or through player trades.
Eagles coach Andy Reid acknowledged on Wednesday that he was entertaining offers for McNabb, Michael Vick and Kevin Kolb.
McNabb has stated publically that he would love to head to the Minnesota Viking as part of a trade and as it currently stands he has the right to decline contract offers. With Brett Favre hanging on in Minnesota, with his decision to come sometime before the season starts (probably down to the wire), it’s highly unlikely the Viking will make a move for McNabb.
Three teams appear to be interested in McNabb, all of which have two picks in the Top 42 including the Oakland Raiders, St. Louis Rams and Buffalo Bills. Each team has first and second round picks and it’s unlikely they will give up their first round choices for the aging QB.
With the draft just around the corner we should see movement on a McNabb trade in the next two to three weeks.
