Mike Holmgrem is now making the decisions in Cleveland, and the first move he will look to make is a change at the quarterback position. Holmgrem will is looking for a quarterback that knows the west coast offense.
Brady Quinn and Derek Anderson have been in a quarterback battle over the past few seasons, and neither player has proven that they can be a starting quarterback in the NFL.
Rumors in Philadelphia are swirling again as they do every off-season, and it seems Donovan McNabb or Kevin Kolb could be a prime candidate to take over Holmgrem’s west coast style of offense. Michael Vick may also figures to be on the trading block.
Matt Hasselbeck from the Seattle Seahawks is another quarterback that Holmgrem could be targeting, that is if Pete Carroll would be willing to part with the former Pro Bowl quarterback.
