A fantastic way for brick & mortar indie businesses to advertise

November 29, 2021 by Gigi Leave a Comment

Window liquid chalk markers or pens are ideal for writing messages and creating art on any glass surface. On the inside of shop windows, you can tell a narrative, provide decoration for the season, or prepare a limited menu. All of which are fantastic ways to brighten up your brick and mortar business and increase footfall.

Here are some tips on how to plan your chalk marker display:

Determine the direction your display will face

The majority of designs are intended to be viewed from the outside, such as by passers-by. It’s fantastic to come across a unique design that welcomes you into a business.

Because liquid chalk markers may be applied in an instant, you may create new artwork each week to attract more people.

Ensure you take this into consideration when planning your design because, if it’s applied inside, you will need to account for the direction of text and designs from the outside.

Choose the Right colours

Chalk markers with white chalk are the most visible and attractive. The white draws attention to the designs, making them appear more current and modern. However, it’s a look that a lot of businesses go for so if you want to stand out, consider adding colour.

Think about colours that match and complement your branding, the colours that will make customers feel most welcome, the colours that will stand out on busy streets and capture attention.

Clean up small mistakes

It’s easy to use a damp cloth to amend any small errors in your design. All you need to do is carefully rub away the area you want to remove and they come off super easily.

When it’s time to wash the design away, all you need to do is get a damp cloth and maybe a little soapy water or window cleaner to remove the design.

It’s a fantastic and cost-effective way to draw more attention and get more eyes on your business. It’s also a great way to bring employees together with a fun arts and crafts project!
