Although Mosby is still a teen she’s already built up an impressive acting portfolio and has appeared on “Criminal Minds” as well as “Grey’s Anatomy”, “Snowfall”, “A Girl Named Jo” and “The Last OG”. A testament to Mosby’s passion for acting and her natural talent.

Mosby appears on “The Last OG” with Tracey Morgan and Tiffany Haddish:

On the second season of “The Last OG”, Mosby plays the daughter of Tracey Morgan and Tiffany Haddish’s characters. In the show Mosby plays a twin while her fraternal twin is played by Dante Hoagland. The premise of “The Last OG” is that Morgan’s character has been released from prison only to find that his ex girlfriend who is played by Haddish has married another man, with whom she is raising their twins.

“The Last OG” was also written by Jordan Peele who became a household name after directing the horror film “Get Up” and his follow up film “Us”. The latter of which starred Oscar winner Lupita Nyongo.

While Mosby is an integral part of a hit TV show, she is still scheduling her time so that she can appear in movies. One example of which is “Breakthrough”, which also stars Chrissy Metz from “This Is Us”. Mosby is proud of her involvement with “Breakthrough” as it’s storyline is based around a true story.

When Mosby auditioned for the role of Chayla in “Breakthrough” she was asked to sing “Oceans”, a track was composed for the film. However Mosby had no idea that her rendition of “Oceans” would feature on the soundtrack for “Breakthrough”.

Mosby dreamed of becoming a famous singer before she started acting:

While Mosby’s young age and her long list of acting credits suggest that Mosby had dreamed of being an actress since she was a small child, Mosby’s first love was actually music. As a small girl Mosby dreamed of becoming a professional singer. So it should come as no surprise that Mosby was thrilled at the chance to combine both of her passions, acting and music, for her role in “Breakthrough”. After which Mosby told reporters that she’d love to incorporate music into some of her future roles.

Mosby dreams of one day being cast in a movie like “La La Land”:

When asked what her dream role would be Mosby answered that she’d love to act in a musical drama like “La La Land”. That would allow her to showcase her acting skills and her voice. As well as acting and singing Mosby also enjoys dancing and would love to tap dane in an upcoming film.
